Sunken Cheeks

As we age we lose volume in all of the fat pads in our face including our cheeks. This leads to loss of structural support for other areas as well like our tear troughs and our lower face, leading to sunken cheeks, sagging tear troughs/hollows and jowling. Aging also leads to bone loss in our cheek bone (zygoma) which lends to loss of cheek bone definition.
